Gram Negative Superbug Meeting
The Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases held a two-day meeting at the Grand Chancellor Hotel, Surfers Paradise to bring together clinicians, microbiologists, pharmacists, infection control nurses and researchers from Asia, Australia and New Zealand to provide a state of the art update on the issues of Gram negative “Superbugs”. International and local speakers reviewed novel therapeutic approaches, the importance of the microbiology laboratory, dosing optimisation and the use of combination therapy and innovative approaches to infection control.
