The Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases (ASID), in collaboration with the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) and Sydney Emerging Infections and Biosecurity Institute (SEIB), is holding a 2 day meeting Friday-Saturday 27/28 July 2012.
The venue is the Eastern Avenue Complex at the University of Sydney with registration now open.

The conference rates are:
Early Bird - $385 (Booking before 25 May 2012)
Standard - $495 (Booking after 25 May 2012)
Late - $594 (Booking after 20 July 2012)

Post graduate - $250
One day registration $250
Please note that in the registration process, if you are requesting accommodation, you will be asked twice for your credit card details. One of these is for the hotel to confirm your booking and no charge is taken by the Zoonoses Secretariat. The second is for event-related charges and payment will be taken at the time of booking.
The meeting aims to bring together veterinarians, medical practitioners and laboratory scientists around the theme of zoonoses in Australia.

CPD points will be available and there will be a conference dinner on the Friday night with entertainment. Speakers for the conference sessions will be by invitation. Delegates are all encouraged to send in abstracts of case reports which will be presented as a continuous poster session over the 2 days and published on the ASID website and in the conference book.
