ASM Council Scholarships
Submissions close 31 January 2017!
The ASID Council Scholarships provide support for members to attend the ASID Annual Scientific Meeting 2017 (29 March - 1 April, Blue Mountains). ASID Council will fund up to three scholarships per year.
Applicants must be financial ASID Associate or Full members, be enrolled full-time in a PhD or MD at the time of the meeting, and also be receiving an NHMRC scholarship or similar. Previous winners may not apply.
Applicants must have had their abstracts accepted for presentation at the Annual Scientific Meeting 2017. Click here for abstract submission information.
Awardees will receive up to $2,000 in reimbursements for travel, registration and accommodation costs to attend the ASM 2017. Receipts are required to claim reimbursement of actual expenses and currency of each claim should be clarified.
Applicants must also advise the secretariat if they receive any other funding for this trip before or during their application.

- a letter of application, with details of study currently being undertaken
- a current CV
- confirmation that you have submitted an abstract(s) for presentation at the ASID ASM 2017. The council scholarships are subject to abstracts which have been accepted. Please submit your scholarship application even if you have not yet received confirmation that your abstract has been accepted.
