Travel to and from Canberra 

Airport : Major airlines serve Canberra and there a feeder services to provincial cities close by. There are long-distance express trains which run every day to Sydney and Melbourne.

Coaches : There are coaches which run several times every day from Sydney, Melbourne as well as to the surrounding areas of Canberra. Murray's Coaches, Greyhound, McCafferty's, Oz Experience and Wayward buses all stop here. Canberra is just 3hrs from Sydney, 7hrs from Melbourne (en route to Sydney), 1.5hrs from the South Coast, and 2hrs from the Snowy Mountains.

Bus: There are services which are based around the 4 town centre interchanges - City, Woden, Tuggeranong and Belconnen. You can catch a bus from an interchange or from any stop along the bus route by signalling the driver. Press the bell when you want to get off.

Bike: Canberra has more than 300 kilometres of bike paths.

Getting to Canberra

From the Airport

Canberra International Airport is 9 kilometres and 10 minutes by road from Hyatt Hotel Canberra. Buses connect city and suburban areas daily from directly outside the hotel on Commonwealth Avenue.

A taxi transfer is approximately $25 - $30 or private limousine is approximately $70
