Special Interest Groups

The Special Interest Groups are subgroups of ASID formed by members with a special interest in a particular field of infectious diseases. Full and Associate Members of ASID can nominate to be a member of a special interest group by editing their membership information. Non-members can join by applying for membership.

There are currently four ASID special interest groups:

• Australian and New Zealand Mycoses Interest Group
• Healthcare Infection Control Special Interest Group
• Australian and New Zealand Paediatric Infectious Diseases Group
• Viral Hepatitis Special Interest Group
