ISHAM 2012
The 18th Congress of the International Society for Human and Animal Mycology 2012 (ISHAM 2012) was recently held in Berlin, Germany, from June 11-15, 2012 and was reported by the organisers as a great success, with 1272 participants from 75 countries.
More than 50% of all ISHAM members participated in the elections of a new ISHAM council, where Wieland Meyer from Westmead Hospital, Sydney was elected vice-president.
Delegates chose Melbourne as the venue for the upcoming ISHAM Congress in 2015.

MYCOLOGY MASTERCLASS 2013
The next Mycology Masterclass will be held from Oct 31 – Nov 2 2013, at Mantra Salt Beach, Kingscliff NSW.
This is an advanced medical mycology course for specialists and trainees in Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, Haematology, Respiratory Medicine & Intensive Care Medicine and Laboratory Scientists & Technicians specialising in Medical Mycology
These meetings are in a variety of locations every two years.
