This Award would be awarded to physicians or scientists from the Asia Pacific region to attend the ASID Annual Scientific Meeting in March 2013 and visit centres in Australia or New Zealand, at the invitation of a Full ASID member. Priority will be given to applicants from developing countries. Previous winners may not apply.
The Society reimburses for a return full economy airline ticket and travel insurance, as well as itemised reasonable living expenses, up to a total value of $3,000. Receipts (tax invoices for claims in Australian dollars) will be required to claim reimbursement of actual expenses and currency of each claim should be clarified.
Applicants should email the following to admin@asid.net.au :-
- letter of application;
- current CV;
- letter of support from the ASID member who invited the applicant;
- a tentative itinerary of your proposed trip, if available;
- any further documentation you may wish to submit in support of your application.
