The Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases is organising the Comprehensive Course in Hospital Epidemiology to be held from 21 – 25 June 2010 in Port Douglas, Queensland.
This course is based on a successful Training Course in Hospital Epidemiology that is run each year in Europe and is being brought to Australia. This course features international experts and covers infection control within the hospital setting and will be an intensive program that offers a hybrid of the standard and applied European programs.
This intensive training program aims at those working in infection control and hospital epidemiology and is approved by two prestigious international societies in the field of infectious diseases the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA). The ESCMID/SHEA Training Course in Hospital Epidemiology was first established in 1999 and over the years evolved into the leading European course in its field.
The maximum capacity has been reached but you can still enter your name on a waiting list.
