Following a recent meeting of the ASID Paediatric Special Interest Group at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne (October 20th, 2009), the group has now formalised under the new name of the Australia and New Zealand Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ANZPID) Group. Any financial member of ASID is eligible to join (not just paediatricians). Please email Di Walsh asap if you wish to join this group and you will be added to the list. The group will be electing their Committee in the forthcoming weeks via an on-line voting system. All ANZPID members will be eligible to vote.
Elections are being held shortly for the committee for the newly formed Australian and New Zealand Paediatric Infectious Diseases Group (ANZPID) special interest group. Professor Nigel Curtis is co-ordinating the voting - those who are eligible to vote have been emailed with a request for nominations.
